The purpose of this role is to devise, implement and monitor procedures to ensure compliance with the requirements of jurisdictions in which the Company operates, to ensure FPI is aware of and is proactive in meeting the changing needs of the regulatory environment, to develop FPI AML and compliance practices in any new developments within our business, to train staff both formally and informally to enable them to follow the Company’s procedures, to liaise with internal and external customers to explain regulatory requirements, to establish and maintain a pro-active and supportive relationship with other Business Units.

You will have industry experience including direct experience in applying compliance and AML procedures in order to meet the Company's obligations in new and developing territories, with specific knowledge of:

  • AML procedures and requirements
  • FSA rules
  • The Company's obligations in relation to money laundering prevention
  • The Company's products
  • Tax and trusts in so far as they are relevant to the Company's products and the principles of financial planning
  • The Company's obligations in relation to data protection
  • Complaints handling
  • In-depth knowledge of business acceptance procedures and territorial restrictions

You should also have a recognised professional qualification in a Compliance related subject.

Assistant Proposition Manager

The purpose of this role is to undertake specific projects that form part of the key programme of the Marketing Plan for all regular premium propositions worldwide marketed by Friends Provident International, and thus contribute to the achievement of new business, share and profitability targets. It is expected that the role holder will also cover other propositions within FPI Marketing in due course and work with other Assistant Proposition Managers, communications specialists and actuarial product pricing resource, regional proposition managers in Hong Kong and Dubai to help deliver tailored solutions to the differing client needs within FPI’s regions.

The successful candidate will have a minimum 5 years' experience in a marketing/product development role ideally within the offshore life sector. You will be a senior marketing professional with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the theory and practice of marketing.

An experienced international financial services marketer with knowledge of the international insurance and investment marketplace, including: an understanding of local market idiosyncrasies; market dynamics and drivers; the differing needs of international IFAs; local marketing/ promotional rules and regulations; local tax incentives and penalties; an understanding of the complex product offerings of international competitors (local and offshore).

You should be a degree holder and it would be advantageous to hold a Diploma in Marketing and be CII qualified or part qualified.

Pensions Sales Manager Dubai
