Please read through the following Terms and conditions of use (‘Terms’) as, by using this Website, you agree to be bound by them. These Terms may be varied from time to time as set out below.

References on this Website to ‘Friends Provident International’, ‘us’ and ‘we’ means references to Friends Provident International Limited or its successor in title.

If you are accessing this Website from outside the UK or Isle of Man, local legislation may not permit us to provide our products in your own country. We will be pleased to confirm the position to you, upon request.

Definitions

'You' is used throughout these Terms to refer to you or anybody using this Website or Services , its electronic content, including accessing on-line application for financial products and other services and features.

The Services provided through this Website are owned and operated by Friends Provident International. The Services provide you with access to client information and limited servicing functionality (the level of access being communicated to you separately by us) via an online service to our computer systems. As a user with us your relationship, in certain circumstances, may, also be governed by other agreements including our standard Terms of Business Agreement for intermediaries. Friends Provident International does not seek to exclude or limit any liability it may have under the UK Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, the Isle of Man Insurance Act 2008 or the rules of its regulators.

You promise to repay to us or reimburse us in respect of all losses, damages, liabilities, actions, proceedings, claims, costs and expenses which we incur and are brought against us by any persons as a result of your negligence and/or breach of these Terms.

Your username and password

Your username is to be used as an identification code in conjunction with your password to enable you to access the Services. You are responsible for keeping the password confidential, and for any and all acts or omissions that occur using your username and password.

You must not do any of the following:

  • let any other person (including multiple users on a network) access the Services using your username and password;
  • fail to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your username and password, online Services account or any other breach of security;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services, other online Services accounts or computer systems or networks connected to the Services; or

Services changes

We can make changes to the information, products and services contained in the Services at any time. If you fail to comply with any of these terms we can discontinue the Services.
