Critical Illness Cover

Providing cover for residents in Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates*

It’s always a relief to have a safety net for you and your loved ones if something happens to you. Critical Illness Cover is an extra layer of security which pays out a lump sum up to USD 1,250,000 if you get diagnosed with one or more of Friends Provident International’s 35 registered critical illnesses, including cancer, heart attacks and permanent disabilities.

Critical Illness Cover also provides protection against 26 different types of illnesses and disabilities under the Children’s Critical Illness and Disability Benefit.

As an expat living in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, it usually is mandatory that you are covered by medical insurance. However, this is separate from Critical Illness Cover as it does not provide financial support and peace of mind, it only covers your medical expenses.

The videos below demonstrate the necessity for Critical Illness Coverage if you suffer a serious illness and the importance of staying healthy.

*Applications from UAE residents can only be submitted via financial advisers regulated in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC)
